September 2017 Wrap-Up

Overall, the month of September was a pretty successful month and I read a total of 10 books. To start I read the first two books in the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, which are Shadow and Bone and Siege and Storm, and I really liked them. They were just a nice little fantasy. I also read The Demon in the Wood and The Tailor, which are both short stories that are a part of the Grisha Trilogy.

The next two I have I was highly anticipating. The first is Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas, which is the seventh book in the Throne of Glass series, and I loved it! The second was Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff, which is the second book in the Nevernight Chronicles. Both of them were so amazing and definitely were worth the wait!

I also read Adultolescence by Gabbie Hanna, which is a poetry book by the Youtuber Gabbie Hanna/The Gabbie Show, and I enjoyed it very much. I read two graphic novels, the first being Through the Woods by Emily Carroll which was short illustrated horror stories and I loved them! The other was Batman Volume 3: I Am Bane, and overall it was pretty good, but not my favorite out of the series so far.

The final book that I read was We Can Be Mended by Veronica Roth which is the epilogue to the Divergent Trilogy, and it was TERRIBLE. Now I love Divergent so much, but this was just horrific, so if you wanted to read it then don't waste your time looking for it anymore, it'll just waste your time.
