The Many Worlds of Albie Bright Review

In The Many Worlds of Albie Bright by Christopher Edge, Albie's mom has passed away from cancer. From just this part of the description, I was interested in reading it, because when I was little my mom also passed away because of cancer. I checked this book out from my library and read it in a day, and it didn't disappoint.

The story of the book focuses on Albie, the son of scientists, and his adventure of traveling to different dimensions to see his mom again. The book overall deals with a very touchy subject for a middle-grade book, but I think it's handled so well.

There's plenty of humor to lighten up the story where it's too dark, and there's even a little bit of darkness when it gets too happy. It's always balanced out but in such an appropriate way that it flows together.

My heart broke reading this book and I haven't read something that's made me this emotional in a while. Although the book is so small you easily fall in love with the characters and the world their in.

I loved this book so much and I rated it 5 stars, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is willing to read it. Albie will take you on an adventure through dimensions to see his mom again and I think you should go with him.
