June Releases and TBR

Image
For the month of June there's only three books that I'm looking forward to.

First and foremost is Ghosts of the Shadow Market By Cassandra Clare with Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson, Kelly Link, and Robin Wasserman. This is a collection of short stories following Brother Zachariah from the various Shadowhunter books. I love all the stories from the Shadowhunters universe and I can't wait to see the stories of Brother Zachariah. This is going to be released on June 4th.

On June 25th, DEV1AT3 by Jay Kristoff is being released. This is the second book following LIFEL1K3, which takes place in a dystopian future of the United States where a girl finds the remains of an android boy named Ezekiel. I'm a huge fan of Jay's writing style and the worlds that he creates and I can't wait to see how he expands upon the ending of the last book.

The final book I'm looking forward to also comes out on June 25th, and it is Wicked Fox by Kat Cho. This book follows Gu Miyou…

I should start posting more regularly from here on out (hopefully!), so prepare for more posts.

As for books that I've read so far this year, I'm just going to break it down by month and give the book titles and ratings as to not overwhelm you with too much information.

Most Anticipated Reads of 2019

So far there are a few books that have been announced for 2019 that I just can't wait to get my hands on. Today I'm here to tell you my most anticipated releases for this year in the order of their publication.

To start off there's only one book that has an unknown publication date, and it is Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell, the second book following Carry On. I loved the first book in this series so much, and I didn't expect to hear about a second one, but when it was announced I got so excited about it!

Coming up soon on January 29th is the release of King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo, which I already have preordered. This book follows King Nicolai after the events of the Grisha Trilogy and I cannot wait for it to be delivered!

Going into March on the 5th is the second book in the Legacy of Orisha series, Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi. I really loved the world building and magic system in Children of Blood and Bone so I can't wait to see where the s…
